Mr. Goodyear's Neighborhood - Congressional Candidate Peter Clemens
Mr. Goodyear's Neighborhood - Congressional Candidate Peter Clemens
Did you know America's healthcare system is the 4th largest economy in the world? Could Hill Air Force Base be at risk of closing because of a political score? Has congressional representative Rob Bishop lost touch with Utah and the people he represents? Peter Clemens is running for Utah's First District congressional seat currently held by Representative Rob Bishop. In this exclusive episode of Mr. Goodyear's Neighborhood, we sat down with Democratic candidate Peter Clemens and discussed these issues and many more.
Peter is an Army Veteran and a successful doctor who has been practicing in Ogden for a very long time. He has become rooted and connected to the Top of Utah community and feels compelled to enter the political arena because 'congress is broken and Utah's First District seat is part of the problem.' This was a no-holds barred interview: Peter agreed to come on the show at the 22nd Street trail head with no prep ahead of time and agreed to answer anything we asked him without any conditions. The result is 90 minutes of rapid political talk where we're proud to say, no political stone was left unturned.
