Ogden Restaurant Week and Cedar Wright at the Ogden Climbing Festival

Last week was super busy for us as Ogden Restaurant Week kicked off followed by the Ogden Climbing Festival. First, we sat down with Visit Ogden members Shane Osguthorpe and Sydnie Furton, Slackwater Pizzaria & Pub Manager, Mike Lee, along with Rooster's Ogden Brewer, Jacquie King who all gave us the deets on the eats (and applicable brews) for this year's Ogden Restaurant Week! We also had the opportunity to hear a little something about Plate & Glass Private Chefs, a new business in town from owner/operator, Jennifer Lowe.

In the second half of this special episode, we crammed Professional Climber and Filmmaker, Cedar Wright, Weber Outdoor Program Director, Daniel Turner, and Bear House Mountain Guiding's Derek DeBruin into #TanVan during the 10th Annual Ogden Climbing Festival Red Bull sponsored lunch with free pizza from Lucky Slice! 

Learn where Cedar’s first met Micah Dash, what Cedar first thought about the internet and social media, a discussion on training for climbing (or not), and some insight to the history of the Ogden Climbing Festival.

Alex Honnold called in from the airport and chatted with us briefly before he jumped onto the plane to fly into Ogden for the evenings Keynote 

The guys provide advice for new climbers, and Derek DeBruin gets an impromptu marketing lesson from Cedar.
