Gritty, unique, Ogden, local musicians are creating a sound inherent to this old railroad mountain town and Brett Turner is helping shape that narrative. As a means to find a cheaper form of marriage counseling, Brett began writing and composing more music. Performing as a solo artist for years, Brett now fronts The Johnny Utah's. 

From purchasing an old brothel, to covering HURT, and writing from the heart, Brett delved into some personal subjects along with whiskey at the bar level debate topics on lyrics versus the hook in this episode of #VanSessions
